Sidewalk Astronomy (June 10, 2025)

On June 10, 2025, Orenburg hosted the first summer sidewalk astronomy evening and the inaugural stargazing outing of the "Look at the Stars" project's 10th anniversary season.

The Moon was the primary object of observation. Participants were able to examine the lunar surface through telescopes, spotting craters and topographical details invisible to the naked eye. Sidewalk astronomy in Orenburg offers a chance to pause during an ordinary city evening, look through a telescope, and see the real Universe with one's own eyes.

The "Look at the Stars" stargazing outing brought together astronomy enthusiasts for telescope viewing and a firsthand encounter with the night sky. This marked the start of the project's 10th anniversary season, dedicated to popularizing astronomy and observing celestial objects.
