Look at the Stars.
❓How do I find out where it takes place?
Our star parties always take place outside the city, usually within 40–70 km. We travel away from light pollution and city lights to see the stars. The exact location is available to you after registration. If you lose the location — return to the registration page via the same link. It has the geolocation — Yandex Maps and Google Maps.❓Can I come without registering?
No, you cannot. Registration is mandatory as it allows us to plan the event, notify participants of possible changes, and ensure comfort for everyone.❓What is the QR code for?
The QR code is your entry ticket to our event. It will be checked at the entrance. Please prepare it in advance to avoid congestion on site. If you don't have a QR code, we will be unable to admit you. The QR code is our way to regulate the number of participants at the site. Our natural landscape and the team's physical capacity have limits. Please respect this and understand.❓What should I bring?
For a comfortable stay at the star party site, you must have warm clothes (we are in the steppe, it is windy and cold at night), a tourist mat, folding chairs, and blankets. We also recommend thermoses with tea/coffee and sandwiches. We advise bringing insect repellent. Hookahs, barbecues, alcohol, and cigarettes are prohibited! We also have the cleanest site — after a star party we don't find a single piece of litter and we greatly thank you for that!❓I don't have a car — what should I do?
We do not organize transport or handle transportation. Our job is to organize a great event; yours is to get there. But for your convenience we created the chat Astro.Companions. Join, meet people, and find company. Everyone there is great, sociable, and reliable. Want to chat about space topics? Join the thematic Astro.Chat!❓Can I get to the star party by public transport?
Unfortunately, no. The venue is far from public transport routes. You can get there by your own car or join other participants if they are willing to take you. We recommend arranging this in advance via our Telegram channel.❓What time does it start?
Each star party announcement includes a specific start time. This time it is 21:30. Guests are invited to arrive at the site from 20:00 to 21:00. This means we ask you to arrive early — to listen to music, take photos with the Moon and in the sunflowers, watch the sunsets, and breathe in the steppe air. And importantly, to park your car and avoid congestion. We really appreciate that!❓How much does it cost?
All our star parties are free. The project grows and develops and we are always grateful for support from our audience and subscribers. For this there are DONATIONS. Want to support us — we will be grateful!❓How long does a star party last?
On average the official program from the start of the lecture to telescope observations lasts 2 hours. But for you they will fly by unnoticed, we guarantee. After that you choose — stay to watch the sky with telescopes, or head home. Approximate end time: 00:30.❓What if it is cloudy or raining?
If the weather forecast is unfavorable (clouds or precipitation), the event may be cancelled or postponed. We always notify participants of such changes via our Telegram channel, so be sure to follow the updates.❓Do I need to bring my own telescope?
No, you don't need to bring a telescope. We always have several telescopes available for public use. If you have your own instrument, you can bring it and our experts will help you set it up and use it.❓Is it suitable for children?
Yes, absolutely! We are very happy when the younger generation takes an interest in science! However, the recommended age is 6 and above. Trust our experience.❓Can I take photos?
Of course! You can take photographs, but please follow etiquette rules so as not to disturb other participants. Do not use bright flashes or flashlights, as this can ruin nighttime observations.❓How and where can I buy your merch?
We bring hoodies, t-shirts, car stickers, postcards, and sticker packs to the star party. Want to support the project — buy our merch!❓I registered but can't make it. What should I do?
Simply cancel your booking via the same link. Free slots will appear on the site and people will be able to register.❓I registered 1/2/3/4/5 people — can I bring more?
No, you cannot. Our rules are the same for everyone. Only the number of people you registered will be admitted with your QR code. No exceptions.❓Registration ended and I didn't make it. Can I still come? Please!
No, unfortunately. Our rules are the same for everyone. We introduced the registration system for a reason and monitor entry to the star party site.❓I like you! How can I support you?
We have DONATIONS. We are constantly buying new equipment, upgrading our technical capabilities, creating merch, and various activities. Your support means ❤︎❤︎❤︎❓Where can I leave a review about you?
