Frequently asked questions

Find answers to common questions about stargazing: registration, what to bring, cost, duration, and how to get there. Prepare for a night under the stars with comfort!Look at the stars.

❓How to find out where it takes place?

Our stargazing events are always held out of town, usually within 40-70 km. We leave the city lights to see the stars. The exact location is available after registration. If you lost the location, return to the registration page via the same link. There is geolocation - Yandex.Map and Google.Map.

❓Can I come without registration?

No, you can't. Registration is required as it allows us to plan the event, notify participants of changes, and ensure comfort for everyone.

❓Why do I need a QR code?

The QR code is your entry ticket to our event. It will be checked at the entrance. Please prepare it in advance to avoid traffic jams. If you don't have a QR code, we will have to refuse you. The QR code helps us regulate the number of participants at the site. Our natural landscape and team capacity have limits. Please respect this.

❓What to bring?

For comfort at the site, be sure to have warm clothes (we are in the steppe, it's windy and cold at night), a camping mat, folding chairs, blankets. We also recommend thermoses with tea/coffee and sandwiches. Take insect repellent. Hookahs, barbecues, alcohol, cigarettes are prohibited! Our site is the cleanest. After stargazing, we don't find any litter and thank you for that!

❓I don't have a car, what should I do?

We do not organize transport. Our task is to organize a great event, yours is to get there. For your convenience, we created a chat Astro.Companions. Join, meet people, and find company. Everyone there is cool, sociable, and reliable. Want to chat about space? Join the themed Astro.Chat!

❓Can I get to the stargazing site by public transport?

Unfortunately, no. The site is far from public transport routes. You can get there by car or join other participants if they can take you. We recommend arranging this in advance via our Telegram channel.

❓What time does it start?

Each stargazing announcement has a specific start time. This time it's 21:30. Gathering on site is from 20:00 to 21:00. Please arrive early - listen to music, take photos with the Moon and sunflowers, watch sunsets, breathe the steppe air. And importantly, park your car and avoid traffic jams. We appreciate it!

❓How much does it cost?

All our stargazing events are free. The project grows and develops, and we always appreciate support from listeners and subscribers. For this, there are DONATIONS. If you want to support us, we will be grateful!

❓How long does stargazing last?

The official program from the start of the lecture to telescope observations lasts about 2 hours. But time flies by, guaranteed. After that, you choose - stay and watch the sky or go home. Approximate end time: 00:30.

❓What if it's cloudy or rainy?

If the weather forecast is unfavorable (clouds or precipitation), the event may be canceled or postponed. We always notify participants of such changes via our Telegram channel, so follow updates.

❓Do I need to bring my own telescope?

No, it's not necessary. We always have several telescopes for general use. If you have your own, you can bring it, and our experts will help you set it up.

❓Can children come?

Yes, and they should! We are very happy when the younger generation is interested in science! Recommended age is 6 and up. Trust our experience.

❓Can I take photos?

Of course! You can take photos, but please follow etiquette so as not to disturb others. Don't use bright flashes or lights, as this can spoil night observation.

❓How and where to buy your merch?

We bring hoodies, t-shirts, car stickers, postcards, and sticker packs to the site. Want to support the project - buy our merch!

❓I registered but can't come. What should I do?

Just cancel your booking via the previous link. Free slots will appear on the site and others can register.

❓I registered 1\2\3\4\5 people, can I bring more?

❓Registration is closed and I didn't make it. Can I come? Please!

No, sorry. Our rules are the same for everyone. We introduced registration for a reason and monitor entry to the site.
