Stargazing - From Earth to the Stars: Feats of People and Machines

People build rockets to reach the stars. We send probes to Mars, launch telescopes into orbit, and create artificial intelligence to understand the Universe. But the path to the stars always begins here — from Earth. With the first glance at the sky, with a simple question: "What's there?"

📅 Date: July 4, 2025 📍 Format: out of town, outdoors

🎫 Participation: free, with prior registration

Topic of the trip

"From Earth to the Stars. Feats of People and Machines"

This night we will talk about how humanity learned to go beyond its world.

How the Voyagers left the Solar System, the Mars rovers became our avatars on another planet, and the James Webb telescope became the eyes looking at the birth of the Universe.

But it all starts here - with curiosity. With a telescope. With you.

What awaits you

  • 🔭 Observations through telescopes: the Moon, planets, star clusters, nebulae and galaxies (if you're lucky with the weather)
  • 🌌 Lectures and stories: about the engineering and scientific feats of mankind
  • 🌠 The Milky Way — live, away from city lights
  • 👨‍👩‍👧 Communication and inspiration — questions, stories and live participation

Organization

  • 📍 Venue — outside the city, approximately 30–35 km from Orenburg
  • 📝 Details and coordinates will be sent to registered participants
  • ☁️ We are guided by the weather forecast, final confirmation 2–3 days before departure

Project “Look at stars" is implemented with the support of the social investment program "Hometowns" of the company Gazprom Neft.

Why is this important?

We believe that science does not begin in laboratories, but in the hearts of people who look at the sky.

If you have ever caught yourself thinking: "What's there, beyond the stars?" - this is your moment. Join us. This is just the beginning.
