An interactive star atlas, free and running right in your browser: stars down to the sixth magnitude, constellations with lines and boundaries, the planets of the Solar System, the Moon and the Sun, plus deep-sky objects — galaxies, nebulae and star clusters.

Customize the map layers — the coordinate grid, the ecliptic, the Milky Way, constellation names — and click the objects marked on the map to open their astrophotos captured by our amateur observatory.

The night sky on any date

By default the map shows the sky right now, as seen from your location. Set a date and time, such as a birthday or the night of an upcoming meteor shower, to see how the sky looked or will look at that moment. Speed up time to watch constellations rise and set through the night.
