This time we will talk about the general concepts of astronomy and will be glad if you prepare interesting questions for the discussion. If you just want to relax, listen to fascinating stories and admire the starry sky - come, it will be interesting!

Participation conditions:
- Participation is paid: 200 rubles per person.
- Children - free.
- It is recommended to have a personal vehicle. If this is not possible, you can find free seats with other participants.
Necessary things:
- Warm clothes (it is cool at night).
- Camping mat or chair for comfortable placement.
- Tea in a thermos, cookies, candies.
- Good mood!
How the astro excursion is going:
- The first part of the program is a lecture on the basics of astronomy and summer constellations.
- The second part is a tour of the night sky, legends and orientation among the constellations.
- The third part is observations through telescopes: planets of the solar system, double stars, star clusters, nebulae, galaxies.
Results of the astro excursion
We have opened the season of joint astronomical trips outside the city!
On May 15, about 30 astronomy enthusiasts gathered outside the city to admire the clear, unpolluted sky.
Lectures and stories:
- Sergey Medvedev and Katerina Guskova spoke about summer constellations and legends of our northern hemisphere.
- Vladimir Ivanovich told about the observed variables and double stars, as well as about open globular clusters. - Misha explained the structure of the telescopes and answered the participants' questions.
Observations:
- The telescopes showed:
- Venus setting at sunset.
- Jupiter with its four satellites.
- Nebulae and star clusters.
- Canon and Nikon SLR cameras were connected to two telescopes to take photos of distant objects.
Special moments:
- There were many children on site who listened to the lectures and observed the sky with great interest. This especially pleased the organizers!
